the lowest advertised price plus a $5 gift card. >> the campbell soup co. is closing its doors in sacramento after 65 years of operation. hundreds of workers will lose their jobs including many that have worked at the plant on franklin street for a large part of their lives. checkey bedford tells us when their oldest facility will shut down for good. >> a typical weekday routine, an early morning caravan of workers are arriving at the south sacramento campbell soup plant. although it had been rumored, little did the 700 plant workers know that there would be no work today. and in the near future, no work at all. >> it is devastating. >> the managers tell the 400 gathered workers in the early morning meeting that they were closing the plant by next summer. >> today put a downer on people's hearts. >> company leaders said they had no choice but to cut the most expensive of their four u.s. plants at a time when soup sales are down. >> this plan has been here since 1947. it means a lot to the community and the company. >> workers say that the closure means they will be forced out into the cold u

in san jose. 97 in morgan hill and about 94 degrees in campbell. east bay temperatures triple digits into livermore, 102 in pleasanton, 99 in pleasant hill, and as you slide inside the bay you'll find plenty of sunshine, maybe as high as 86 degrees today in san francisco. 75 in daly city and about 78 degrees in bodega bay that's a warm day along the north bay. how about this for temperatures the next couple of days. hot today and then dropping off tomorrow. but toward the weekend, a few more clouds roll our way. those temperatures may be cooling below average as we look toward sunday and into monday. let's check the roads now with elizabeth. >> nothing hot to speak about. no big hotspots so far this morning at 4:45. we are accident-free for the most part across the bay area. nothing much to really slow you down. so here's a live look at the bay bridge toll plaza. and as you can see, everything moves nicely into san francisco. let's go to our maps, show you what else is going on. there is some overnight roadwork in lanes still on westbound 84. it's kind of interesting because we can s

to 69 tomorrow. below normal. concord down 77. san francisco 76 for a high. big changes. campbell 77, union city only 70 with morning cloud cover tomorrow. walnut creek 78. pleasant hill 78. 77 for concord and only the low 60s bodega bay, stinson beach mid-60s in downtown and 68 degrees for berkeley. so the change continues tomorrow. highs inland only the upper 70s over the weekend. near the bay only the upper 60s. and how about that chance of rain next monday and next tuesday? widely scattered showers are likely everywhere from the coast all the way to inland areas. and even sacramento could see some showers for the top of next week. the one place where it's still shot in oakland. the hottest team in baseball, roberta gonzales is reporting live from the a.l. west champion stadium. >> hi, paul. we are on the field. in fact the oakland as just finished up some of the last celebrations right there on the big bump. the pitchers mound. and in fact the officers just asked the last remaining fans to leave because they have been partying here for an hour after the oakland as wrapped up this
